After the devastating earthquake in 2015, we wondered how we could personally help, especially in the mountainous area of the Tamang Region (north of Kathmandu on the border to Tibet/China) where our befriended family lives. After much back and forth, we decided to organize a medical mission through the villages of this region that we already knew. With our medical training in psychotherapy/general medicine/anesthesia/emergency medicine, we felt prepared to meet and help the physically and psychologically traumatized people. Many individuals and institutions supported our, at that time still private, project with materials and financial donations. With 40 kg of medicines and medical supplies in our luggage, we flew to Kathmandu on 25.02.2016. There, we bought even more medication. Then we traveled by jeep to our target area and then on foot through the Tamang Heritage Region.

2. „Buchhandlung Lettera“ in Birkenfeld und Langensteinbach (Karlsbad, Weinbrennerstr. 3, Birkenfeld Hauptstrasse 79).
Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei den Eigentümer*innen der Geschäfte, welche den Verkauf unentgeltlich übernehmen, sodass die Einnahmen in Höhe von 25€ vollständig unserem Verein zu Gute kommen.
